Aoife Buttimer

Aoife successfully completed her Law Society FE-1 Examinations and thereafter, completed the Law Society of Ireland Professional Practice Courses at Blackhall Place, Dublin.

She was added to the Roll of Solicitors in January 2021 having completed her training in Frank Buttimer & Co Solicitors in Cork, where she continues to work.

She has experience in all areas of litigation, specifically High Court personal injury litigation to include fatal injury actions, workplace accidents and serious road traffic injuries. She also practices in the Circuit Court and District Court in relation to a range of matters such as personal injury matters, public liability claims, personal data breaches, assault claims, discrimination and defamation.

She works in the Criminal Defence department primarily in the District Court, Court of Criminal Appeal, The Central Criminal Court, The Special Criminal Court and attending Garda Station detentions and advising clients in custody.

Aoife also has experience in family law, specifically divorce and separation both contentious and non-contentious matters.
